Building A New Community - Together!
For more than six years, Lewis Planned Communities has worked with our neighbors, school officials, County officials, community leaders and the environmental community to craft The Villages of Lakeview, a mixed-use master-planned community.
The Villages of Lakeview was approved by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors on February 23, 2010, after conducting one of the most thorough environmental impact reports (EIR) in County history. This 19,500-page comprehensive report studied transportation, noise, water, air quality, biology, cultural resources and even greenhouse gases.
The Villages of Lakeview balances the need to protect the environment and rural lifestyles with the need for new schools, active parks, multipurpose equestrian trails, shopping, libraries, community centers, and regional infrastructure solutions that benefit future generations.
With input from the community, The Villages of Lakeview incorporates the Lakeview-Nuevo Design Guidelines, dark-skies lighting, drought tolerant landscaping and numerous amenities that complement the community.
Despite being one of the most reviewed projects in County history, our work is not done. A community of this size will evolve over time, requiring continued input from our neighbors as each of the seven villages develops.
The Lewis team will continue to present the project to the communities of Lakeview, Nuevo and Juniper Flats and keep all stakeholders informed of the progress. If you have questions about the planned community, please email us at thevillagesoflakeview@yahoo.com.
We at Lewis Planned Communities thank you for sharing your thoughts and look forward to working with you as we, together, create a new community that we can be proud of for years to come.
